Claim local search first
For most local businesses, the highest-return work is a complete business profile, accurate categories, real photographs and a steady flow of genuine reviews. It costs nothing but attention and it reaches people already searching for what you sell.
Pick one channel and do it properly
A small business cannot sustain five channels. Choose the one where your customers already are, publish consistently for six months, and only then consider adding a second.
Write what customers actually ask
The questions you answer on the phone every week are your content plan. They are what people search for, and answering them well earns both search visibility and trust before the first call.
Measure enquiries, not impressions
Reach and impressions are inputs. Enquiries, quotes issued and orders won are outcomes. If a channel cannot be tied to an outcome within a quarter, it is a brand expense — treat it as one and budget accordingly.
